The name HEXIA relates to the fact that the cable is constructed of 6 conductors. HEXIA series is based on an entirely new principle invented by Soeren Bertram,  which we call ‘Diffused Magnetic Field’. Each conductor is made ​​of a finely rolled strip, which is shaped like a sine wave, and then twisted a little bit. Why? Because we thus diffuse each ribbon conductors’s ambient magnetic field. This means that the cable gets considerably smaller inductance because the magnetic fields between the cores is reduced. This implies again that the cable is ultra fast and has very low internal resistance and very low distortion. Moreover, the manager’s contact with the surrounding Teflon tube is reduced to a negligible size, which means even less staining of dielectric as the ribbon conductor is virtually ‘free floating’. The diffuse magnetic field works both ways – in and out of line. This means that conductors in the cable work much less like antennas – and therefore do not pick up all the noise that other cables do. All this make the HEXIA sound like a fantastic pure and holographic reproduction. The cable has a vanishingly low internal capacitans.

HEXIA unbalanced signal cables are terminated with WBT NextGen Silver, which is laser welded to the cable, or with OYAIDE SLSC silver plugs with laser welding.

HEXIA balanced signal cable is terminated with OYAIDE FOCUS XLR connectors with laser welding.
